Hey guys!
We are one of the new first year committees of GEWIS. Our full name is Republic of Cool Kids (we also don’t know why). You might recognize us from our beautiful light blue sweaters with our names on it!
Our FYC has changed quite a few times now. In the beginning of the year, we got a great addition to our FYC, namely three female mathematics students. Because of these great members, we are proud to be the FYC with the most female members, and also the most mathematics students! So yay, diversity!
We also have great roles in our committee. We of course have the standard roles, such as chairman, secretary and treasurer, but we also have an influencer, a ‘punisher’, a designer and an activities manager. Although that last one isn’t very busy these days. Also the punisher isn’t what it sounds like. She is in charge of the punishments we hand out if someone (for example) is late for a meeting.
We are kind of like a tiny family in GEWIS. This is mostly because we have two parents in our FYC, because the rest act like their lovely children. They take very good care their children. Of course the daddy of our FYC is our chairman, Raphael, and the mom is our influencer, Julia.
