Job title:

Algorithm validation for Image Guided Therapy; Design algorithm validation strategies for new clinical applications.

Your role:

Image Guided Therapy systems are used to treat patients in minimal invasive clinical procedures (coronary, vascular, neurology, oncology, cardiac, lung). We create software applications with complex algorithms to support physicians in getting the best outcome for patients. You will play an important role in the validation of these algorithms, to ensure they meet the clinical needs, and are safe and effective.

You will be part of the Verification & Validation team of the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) clinical application team. You will interact with a cross functional project team, consisting of among others clinical marketing, system design, software development.

This internship will give you the opportunity to learn about the Philips Image Guided Therapy organization and its different roles.

You're the right fit if:

You are a MSc student in the area of Biomedical Engineering, Technical Medicine, Medical Physics, or similar.

You have affinity with Healthcare Innovation, Medical Imaging, Research Methodologies, Medical Data management, Algorithms.

Your skills include excellent writing in English, communication and collaboration.

You are available for at least 6 months.
